By placing an order, you, our customer (the “Customer”) consents to and agrees to abide by any and all of the following Terms and Conditions
Room-Deco Furniture accepts credit card, cheque, money order, wire transfers. When you order through our shopping cart or over the phone, in most cases you will be charged in full. We regularly check stock with our manufacturers to assure that the product will be available for shipment to you within a reasonable time frame.. However, some items with custom-ordered finishes, fabrics or other upgrades may take longer. In those cases where there is a longer than normal lead time due to customization or a back-order situation with the manufacturer, we may agree to charge you 50% when you place the order and 50% when the order is picked up by our delivery service. When the order is delivered to you, it will be 100% paid in advance and no money will be exchanged at the time of delivery.
Please complete the required information on our credit card form, and note that your cheque must clear our bank prior to product shipment. There is a $30 service charge for any returned cheque. For larger orders we may request wire transfer payment. Please contact our customer service line for more information.
Prices on this website are for online purchases only. The prices listed are for configurations as shown. Changes to finish, colour, grade, fabric or leather may lead to price changes.
For a variety of reasons, including manufacturer restrictions, technical issues, and constant change, we are unable to quote some furniture prices online. If you would like a price quote, please contact us. . Any of our friendly and knowledgeable associates will be glad to assist you. In some rare cases, our site may display items that are no longer available, or whose price has changed or been misquoted, and there may be other issues that are of a reasonable nature that would prevent us from selling you a particular item or collection. Room-Deco Fine Furniture reserves the right to cancel any sale and give you your money back if you are not satisfied with the corrected price, or a different item.
Colors of Products
We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the look and color of products appearing on our website. However, as the actual colors you see will depend on your monitor, we cannot guarantee your monitor's display of any color will be accurate. A Customer's signature on invoice denotes acceptance of merchandise as chosen by Customer, including style, color, fabric and wood finish of furniture.
Please note, with natural products such as wood or leather, some imperfections can be expected. These are not considered a defect, and add to the uniqueness of the product.
Orders may be canceled within 3 days of the date of purchase. After 3 days, a 30% fee will be charged on cancelled orders. Orders that have entered production cannot be canceled. After delivery has commenced, all sales are final and no returns are allowed. You should not expect ROOM-DECO FINE FURNITURE to give you your money back for any reason other than wrong model number being shipped.
While delivery dates are determined based on the most current information available to us, as well as our past delivery experience with each supplier, occasionally receipt of merchandise from our suppliers is delayed. ROOM-DECO FINE FURNITURE will not be liable for manufacturer delays. Please note that delivery times are based on the operating days of each supplier.
Delivery Times on Date of Delivery
We regret that we cannot offer exact delivery times. Our delivery department will be able to provide approximate times. The Customer is responsible for ensuring adequate accessupon delivery for our delivery crew. It is very important to check the dimensions of your furniture prior to purchase and to check the pathway(s) that the furniture will have to travel during the delivery. Should the pathway(s) not be sufficient, we will attempt placement of your goods for you and will exercise all care and caution possible but cannot be responsible for damage to floors, ceilings, walls, stairs, etc. that may result. Prior to placing your order, please carefully ensure that clearance is available. Additional delivery charges will apply if no one is present to accept delivery when our delivery crew arrives.
Two people must be available to pick up merchandise. It is the Customer's responsibility to ensure proper transportation is available for the merchandise. Please ensure that the size of your vehicle will accommodate the size of the furniture to be picked up. ROOM-DECO FINE FURNITURE is not responsible for loading and tie-down of merchandise or the safe transportation of furniture to your home. Damage that occurs during a Customer’s handling or transportation of a product is not covered under warranty nor can we accept returns on this merchandise.
The Customer shall be responsible for any repair and service charges to repair such damage. In any event, should any repair or exchange be necessary, it is the Customer's responsibility to return the merchandise to the store. All merchandise must be kept in its original packing.
Merchandise that is picked-up may be in cartons and require assembly. Due to the nature of furniture shipped in cartons, we are unable to unpack cartons or assemble product for you at our distribution center.
ROOM-DECO FINE FURNITURE warranties all furniture against manufacturer's defects for a period of one year. Where Manufacturer warranty exceeds one year, these will be honored by the store and we will repair, or replace furniture as directed by the manufacturer. Service and handling charges will apply to all service required on merchandise beyond manufacturer's warranty. No warranty or service on clearance items.
Storage charges apply for merchandise not taken by the Customers within 30 days of the agreed date. Storage charges are a minimum of $50 per month per piece.
For Damaged Merchandise all claims must be made within 3 days following delivery of goods.

1) Drop-off delivery and in-house deliver y
When the merchandise is received, we ask that you inspect the outside of the cartons for any shipping damage. In the event of noticeable damage to the cartons or packaging, we ask that this be noted on the freight bill as “Damaged Cartons”. "Subject to inspection.” If you find there is damage to the product, please contact us within 72 hours of receiving your goods and we will either repair or replace the merchandise. You will not be able to make a claim for transportation damage after you have signed for an item as received in good condition.
2) White glove service (not available in some areas
White Glove Delivery is a specific delivery option available on most orders. When you place an order, we will ship the furniture to a furniture delivery specialist in your area. They will then contact you to schedule a suitable time and date for delivery. They will send out a delivery crew, carefully unpack your merchandise and assemble it in the room of your choice. They will then haul away all packaging. White Glove Service must be ordered prior to the shipment of your furniture.
Note: For drop-off, in-house and white glove delivery service
We reserve the right to either repair or replace damaged parts. Do not refuse delivery of damaged goods. Refusal of delivery will cause substantial delays in correcting the problem. Instead, please accept delivery and sign the receipt given to you by the driver and note the damage on the receipt. Damage does NOT constitute grounds for refusal of the product. Contact us either by phone or email telling us the nature and extent of the damage. We will respond promptly to correct the situation.
In the event of any claims made by the Customer against ROOM-DECO FURNITURE, the Customer agrees that such claims shall be undertaken and heard in the City of Vaughan, Ontario, Canada.
